Attorney Information

If you are arrested, ask the authorities to notify the U.S. Consul in Portugal. Although we cannot interfere with the Portuguese legal system, we will work to protect your legitimate interests and ensure that you are not discriminated against. Consular officers can provide you with a list of English-speaking attorneys and can also contact your family on your behalf.
