Disaster or Evacuation
We will do everything possible to contact and assist you in case of natural disaster or civil disturbance. Warden Messages will also be disseminated through the warden system and posted on the Embassy’s website. Register your presence in Portugal with the Embassy so that we can contact you in case of emergency. The Department of State’s travel website explains the Department’s Role in Crisis Abroad and also has resources to help you prepare for a crisis or natural disaster.
