U.S. Embassy Lisbon Sponsors Photo Exhibit

June 25 - The U.S. Embassy partnered with the University of Lisbon’s Library and American Studies Institute to exhibit a collection of photos entitled ‘Into the West: US Canyon Land.’ The exhibit will run from June 25 to July 6.

The spectacular photographs were taken by Portugal-based German photographer Jürgen Irps who has traveled and photographed the U.S. The opening was a popular event among students, academics and the general public. The Embassy will sponsor other photo exhibits during the fall at the Faculdade de Letras.
