U.S. Embassy Lisbon Hosts Security Seminar

 Seminar audience
Over 90 people attended the two-hour long presentation

Jan. 23 - The U.S. Embassy’s Regional Security Office and Foreign Commercial Service offered a training presentation on emergency preparedness and crisis management to interested local businesses.

With the recent attacks against hotels in Pakistan and India, the Diplomatic Security Service, in conjunction with the U.S. State Department’s Overseas Advisory Council, has organized a series of training modules geared to assist the hospitality industry on the vulnerability of their overseas operations and what measures can be taken to both better protect against and respond to attacks against their facilities.

Over 90 people representing more than 30 different companies turned out for the two-hour long presentation.
