Center (AERC) is not a Public Library.
The Resource Center is part of the Office of Public Affairs and assists the Embassy staff as well as the Portuguese government institutions, the private sector, NGO’s, the media, researchers, scholars, and others with a serious research interest in the United States.
Individuals interested in general information about the United States may visit Information USA.
Electronic resources with access to the internet and commercial on-line databases provide research and reference on all aspects of the United States policy, with a focus on foreign relations, media issues, social, economic, and political issues, the rule of law, legislative developments, and current affairs.

The AERC provides telephone service every day between 8:30 and 17:00 except during:
